Come and See experience

"The next day John again was standing with two of his disciples, and as he watched Jesus go by, he exclaimed, 'Look, here is the Lamb of God!'  The two disciples heard him say this and they followed Jesus.  When Jesus turned and saw them following, he said to them, 'What are you looking for?' They said to him, 'Rabbi' (which translated means Teacher), 'where are you staying?'  He said to them, 'Come and see.'  They came and saw and they remained with him that day."  John 1:35-39

Come and See experience should provide an opportunity to those reflecting on their own vocation to participate in spiritual and social life of the community. For that reason, it is important to choose appropriate house with a good number of members were visitors could participate in the community life. In this case it will be very simple to organize Come and See experience because visitors would just join in the daily plan of prayers and activities of particular community. Otherwise if the community is smaller it will be necessary to organise this experience in the form of a reflection day.

In planning Come and See / Open Day experience it is necessary to provide a detail plan of evens/prayers (agenda) and provide an introduction to our Salvatorian Spirituality, Mission and Charism which will give to your visitors an opportunity to reflect about their own vocation in relation to our Salvatorian Charism. In preparing the agenda for such day please provide your visitors with a bit of free/social time where they can talk and interact with other community members. It will give them chance to discover our religious life from their own perspective and maybe they would be able to find answers to their personal questions.
